Session Name: Transforming early years’ literacy strategies with ‘Little J and Big Cuz’
Lisa Norris: Lisa currently works for the ACER Foundation, her role is to facilitate the delivery of the Little J & Big Cuz initiative. The ACER Foundation was established to work in collaboration with partners to establish and manage projects that address educational disadvantage. Lisa has a background in the arts having studied a BA in Fashion Design (RMIT) followed by 15 years experience within the film and television industry where she was nominated for both BAFTA and AFI awards for her work in film sound, before moving over to project management and the education sector.Executive Producer/Senior Project Director
Deborah Cohen: Deborah is currently completing her PhD in digital education resource design and implementation, at RMIT. She is also lecturing at ACU (Melbourne) in the Education and Arts Faculty for Visual Arts, Design and Media Arts education. In her spare time, Deborah is an education consultant working on projects to develop digital learning and teaching resources for private and public organisations. Previously, she was the Education Manager, ACTF; Senior Education Officer, General capabilities (ACARA); Principle Education Officer, Arts (QCAA); Senior Policy Officer, Arts (DoEd, Qld.); school administrator and teacher.
