Speaker Announcement: Nathan Anderson

ATOM and ACMI are excited to announce our first slate of speakers and presenters for the July Screen Futures Summit.

Start VR is a dedicated virtual reality content and production studio devoted to the creation of beautiful and immersive virtual reality experiences.

Nathan Anderson is an Executive Producer at Start VR. Nathan held production roles in film and TV projects The Matrix, The Well, Paradise Road, Never Tell Me Never and Heartbreak High in the mid 90s before transitioning into the interactive space in 1999. Over the next decade Nathan co-founded a VC-funded Dotcom, worked at leading advertising agencies in Sydney and London, and held digital producer roles at Foxtel and Disney.

In 2009, Nathan founded Envelop Entertainment, a multi-platform production house, which was acquired by The Project Factory in 2013, where Nathan produced award-winning interactive entertainment projects such as Sherlock: The Network and Precinct 13 (Episodes 1 and 2).

Nathan completed a Masters by Research from AFTRS in 2010 examining Interactive Narrative and Multiplatform Theory and is a part-time lecturer and industry speaker. Nathan is also a member of the Producers Guild of America’s New Media Council and an active participant Screen Producers Association of Australia.

In 2015, Nathan co-founded Start VR, a virtual reality content studio working with brands and original IP to create cutting-edge VR experiences. Start VR is a dedicated virtual reality content and production studio devoted to the creation of beautiful and immersive virtual reality experiences.
